  • Cold Compress with ice

  • Warm Compress

Take a towel and soak it in hot water and put it on the affected place for 10 minutes, two or three times per day. This can help the bruise heal faster and more effective.

  • OTC Medications

If the bruise hurts too much, you can take acetaminophen. However, be careful about the medications that you consume because pills such as aspirin can inflict clotting and lead to bruises.

  • Elevate Your Legs

This can really help you reduce the swelling and the redness of the bruise. You can get rid of large bruises who are bothering you for some time by elevating your legs as much as you can.
